8 And when Aaron [a]lighteth the lamps [b]at even, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before Jehovah throughout your generations. 9 Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt-offering, nor meal-offering; and ye shall pour no drink-offering thereon. 10 And Aaron shall make atonement [c]upon the horns of it once in the year; with the blood of the sin-offering of atonement once in the year shall he make atonement [d]for it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto Jehovah.

8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.(A) 9 Do not offer on this altar any other incense(B) or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it. 10 Once a year(C) Aaron shall make atonement(D) on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering[a](E) for the generations to come.(F) It is most holy to the Lord.”
