When Aaron lights the lamps at sundown, he must burn incense on it. It is to be a perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations. You must offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt sacrifice, nor grain offering, and you must not pour out a drink offering on it. 10 Aaron must make atonement on its horns once a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonement. Once a year he must make atonement on it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.

He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.(A) Do not offer on this altar any other incense(B) or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it. 10 Once a year(C) Aaron shall make atonement(D) on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering[a](E) for the generations to come.(F) It is most holy to the Lord.”
