8 and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey(A)—the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.(B) 9 So because the Israelites’ cry for help has come to me, and I have also seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing(C) them, 10 therefore, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh so that you may lead my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.”

9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
