³³ So ^(A)they shall eat ^[a]those things by which atonement was made ^[b]at their ordination and consecration; but a ^[c](B)layman shall not eat them, because they are holy.

²⁰ He shall also do with the bull just as he did with ^(A)the bull of the sin offering; he shall do the same with it. So ^(B)the priest shall make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.

²⁶ And he shall offer ^(A)all its fat up in smoke on the altar as in the case of the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings. So ^(B)the priest shall make atonement for him regarding his sin, and he will be forgiven.

^31 (A)Then he shall remove all its fat, just as the fat was removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as ^(B)a soothing aroma to the Lord. So the priest shall make atonement for him, ^[a]and he will be forgiven.

²³ Then they brought the male goats of the sin offering before the king and the assembly, and ^(A)they laid their hands on them.

²⁴ The priests slaughtered them and purified the altar with their blood ^(A)to atone for all Israel, because the king ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.
