7 The two shoulders thereof shall be joined together by their two edges: so shall it be closed.
8 And the [a]embroidered girdle of the same Ephod, which shall be upon him, shall be of the selfsame work and stuff, even of gold, blue silk, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9 And thou shalt take two Onyx stones, and grave upon them the names of the children of Israel.

7 It is to have two shoulder pieces attached to two of its corners, so it can be fastened. 8 Its skillfully woven waistband(A) is to be like it—of one piece with the ephod and made with gold, and with blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and with finely twisted linen.
