14 ¶ And if a man borrow ought of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or else die, the owner thereof not being by, he shall surely make it good.
15 If the owner thereof be by, he shall not make it good: for if it be an hired thing, it [a]came for his hire.
16 ¶ (A)And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall endow her, and take her to his wife.
