(A)“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (B)Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the (C)seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, (D)nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For (E)in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song (A)for Alamoth.

46 God is our (B)refuge and strength,
(C)A[a] very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the [b]midst of the sea;
(D)Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

There is a (E)river whose streams shall make glad the (F)city of God,
The holy place of the [c]tabernacle of the Most High.
God is (G)in the midst of her, she shall not be [d]moved;
God shall help her, just [e]at the break of dawn.
(H)The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

The (I)Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
(J)He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
(K)He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
(L)He burns the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God;
(M)I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

18 But (A)those things which God foretold (B)by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 (C)Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send [a]Jesus Christ, who was [b]preached to you before, 21 (D)whom heaven must receive until the times of (E)restoration of all things, (F)which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [c]the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, (G)‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

28 Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, (A)“You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and (B)I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me (C)is true, (D)whom you do not know. 29 [a]But (E)I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”

30 Therefore (F)they sought to take Him; but (G)no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come. 31 And (H)many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?”

Jesus and the Religious Leaders

32 The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him. 33 Then Jesus said [b]to them, (I)“I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I (J)go to Him who sent Me. 34 You (K)will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you (L)cannot come.”

35 Then the Jews said among themselves, “Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to (M)the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? 36 What is this thing that He said, ‘You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come’?”

The Promise of the Holy Spirit

37 (N)On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, (O)“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 (P)He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, (Q)out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 (R)But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those [c]believing in Him would receive; for the [d]Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet (S)glorified.
