^3 (A)‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and ^(B)keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

⁴ For God commanded, saying, ^(A)‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ^(B)‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

^2 (A)“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:

³ “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

^20 (A)Children, obey your parents ^(B)in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
