⁵ Now if you will listen to Me and carefully keep My covenant,^(A) you will be My own possession^(B) out of all the peoples, although all the earth is Mine,

⁶ For you are a holy people^(A) belonging to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be His own possession^(B) out of all the peoples on the face of the earth.

⁷ “The Lord was devoted to you and chose you, not because you were more numerous than all peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.

¹⁵ Yet the Lord was devoted to your fathers and loved them.^(A) He chose their descendants after them—He chose you out of all the peoples, as it is today.
