Exodus 19:2-8

2 They set out from (A)Rephidim and came into the wilderness of Sinai, and they encamped in the wilderness. There Israel encamped before (B)the mountain, 3 while (C)Moses went up to God. (D)The Lord called to him out of the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the people of Israel: 4 (E)‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how (F)I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be (G)my treasured possession among all peoples, for (H)all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a (I)kingdom of priests and (J)a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”
7 So Moses came and called the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the Lord had commanded him. 8 (K)All the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” And Moses reported the words of the people to the Lord.

7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, (A)“All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.” 8 (B)And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and (C)seventy of the elders of Israel (D)went up, 10 and they (E)saw the God of Israel. There was under his feet as it were a pavement of (F)sapphire stone, like the very heaven for clearness. 11 And he did not lay his hand on the chief men of the people of Israel; they beheld God, and (G)ate and drank.
