^16 (A)So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were ^[a]thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud over the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

¹⁵ Then Moses went up to the mountain, and ^(A)the cloud covered the mountain. ^16 (B)The glory of the Lord ^[a]settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He ^(C)called to Moses from the midst of the cloud.

¹¹ You came forward and stood at the foot of the mountain, ^(A)and the mountain was burning with fire to the heart of the heavens: darkness, cloud, and thick gloom.
