¹¹ Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods,^(A) for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.”^(B)

¹⁹ If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods^(A) and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.^(B)

²⁰ When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their ancestors,^(A) and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods^(B) and worship them,^(C) rejecting me and breaking my covenant.^(D)
