¹³ So Joshua ^[a]overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

¹⁴ Then Yahweh said to Moses, “^(A)Write this in ^[b]a book as a memorial and ^[c]recite it in Joshua’s hearing, ^[d]that ^(B)I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” ¹⁵ And Moses built an ^(C)altar and named it ^(D)Yahweh is My Banner;
