23 he said to them, “This is what the Lord has commanded: Tomorrow is a day of solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord; bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil, and all that is left over put aside to be kept until morning.”(A) 24 So they put it aside until morning, just as Moses commanded them, and it did not rot, and there were no maggots in it.(B) 25 Moses said, “Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord; today you will not find it in the field.

23 And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the Lord: to day ye shall not find it in the field.

— Esto es lo que ha ordenado el Señor: mañana es sábado, día de descanso, consagrado al Señor. Todo lo que tengáis que cocer y hervir, cocedlo y hervidlo hoy, y guardad para mañana lo que os sobre.
24 Conforme a lo ordenado por Moisés, guardaron para el día siguiente lo que les había sobrado, sin que criara gusanos ni se pudriera. 25 Moisés les dijo:
— Comedlo hoy, porque hoy es día de descanso dedicado al Señor, y hoy no lo encontraréis en el campo.
