^30 (A)So the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel ^(B)saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

¹⁹ But today you ^(A)have rejected your God, who saves you from all your catastrophes and your distresses; yet you have ^[a]said, ‘No, but put a king over us!’ Now then, ^(B)present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your ^[b]groups of thousands.”

²³ So ^(A)the Lord saved Israel that day, and the battle ^[a]spread beyond ^(B)Beth-aven.

¹⁴ But they took their stand in the midst of the plot and defended it, and defeated the Philistines; and the Lord saved them with a great ^[a]victory.

²² So the Lord ^(A)saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria and from the hand of all others, and ^[a]guided them on every side.
