⁹ This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand^(A) and a reminder on your forehead^(B) that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips. For the Lord brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand.^(C)

The Three Annual Festivals

¹⁴ “Three times^(A) a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.

⁵ When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, “Tomorrow there will be a festival^(A) to the Lord.”
