²³ For ^(A)the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; but when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will ^(B)not allow the ^(C)destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you.

^35 (A)Then it happened that night that the angel of the Lord went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the rest got up early in the morning, behold, all of ^[a]the 185,000 were ^[b]dead.

²³ And immediately ^(A)an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and ^[a]died.
