¹¹ So they appointed ^(A)taskmasters over them to afflict them with ^[a](B)hard labors. And they built for Pharaoh ^(C)storage cities, Pithom and ^(D)Raamses. ¹² But the more they afflicted them, ^(E)the more they multiplied and the more they ^[b]spread out, so that they were in dread of the sons of Israel. ¹³ So the Egyptians brutally compelled the sons of Israel ^(F)to slave labor;
