26 Tabernaculul să-l faci din zece draperii din fir de in subţire răsucit şi din fire de culoare albastră, purpurie şi cărămizie; să le brodezi cu heruvimi, lucraţi cu măiestrie. 2 Fiecare draperie să fie lungă de douăzeci şi opt de coţi şi lată de patru coţi[a]. Toate draperiile să fie de aceeaşi mărime. 3 Cinci din aceste draperii să fie prinse laolaltă, iar celelalte cinci să fie prinse şi ele laolaltă. 4 La marginea draperiei exterioare din primul set, să faci nişte cheotori din fir de culoare albastră; la fel să faci şi la marginea draperiei exterioare a celui de-al doilea set. 5 Să faci cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei din primul set şi cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei celui de-al doilea set, astfel încât cheotorile să se potrivească unele cu celelalte. 6 Să faci cincizeci de cârlige de aur şi cu acestea să prinzi draperiile unele de altele, astfel încât Tabernaculul să alcătuiască un întreg.
7 Să faci şi unsprezece draperii din păr de capră pentru acoperişul Tabernaculului. 8 Fiecare draperie să fie lungă de treizeci de coţi şi lată de patru coţi[b]; toate cele unsprezece draperii să fie de aceeaşi mărime. 9 Să prinzi laolaltă cinci dintre draperii ca să alcătuiască un set, iar cu celelalte şase să faci un alt set. A şasea draperie s-o îndoi în faţa cortului. 10 Să faci cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei exterioare din primul set şi cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei exterioare a celui de-al doilea set. 11 Să faci cincizeci de cârlige de bronz pe care să le introduci prin cheotori şi să îmbini părţile cortului, astfel încât acesta să alcătuiască un întreg. 12 Partea care rămâne din draperiile cortului, mai exact jumătatea care rămâne, să atârne în partea din spate a Tabernaculului. 13 Un cot[c] într-o parte şi un cot în cealaltă parte, astfel încât, ceea ce mai rămâne din lungimea draperiilor cortului, să atârne peste marginile Tabernaculului, într-o parte şi în cealaltă şi să îl acopere. 14 Să mai faci pentru cort o învelitoare din piei de berbeci vopsite în roşu şi o acoperitoare exterioară din piele de viţel de mare.
15 Să faci pentru Tabernacul nişte scânduri drepte din lemn de salcâm. 16 Fiecare scândură să fie lungă de zece coţi şi lată de un cot şi jumătate[d]; 17 fiecare să aibă câte două cepuri prin care să fie îmbinate. Să faci la fel toate scândurile Tabernaculului. 18 Să faci douăzeci de scânduri pentru partea de sud a Tabernaculului. 19 Sub cele douăzeci de scânduri să faci patruzeci de piedestale de argint, din care două să fie sub prima scândură cu cele două cepuri ale ei şi două sub următoarea scândură cu cele două cepuri ale ei. 20 Pentru partea de nord a Tabernaculului să faci douăzeci de scânduri 21 şi patruzeci de piedestale de argint, câte două sub fiecare scândură. 22 Pentru partea din spate a Tabernaculului, orientată spre apus, să faci şase scânduri. 23 Apoi să faci încă două scânduri pentru colţurile din spate ale Tabernaculului. 24 Acestea trebuie făcute din câte două bucăţi, unite de sus până jos; în partea de sus trebuie prinse cu un inel de metal; să faci la fel pentru scândurile din ambele colţuri. 25 Vor fi astfel opt scânduri cu piedestalele lor de argint, în total şaisprezece piedestale, câte două sub fiecare scândură. 26 Să faci apoi drugi din lemn de salcâm, cinci drugi pentru cadrul primei părţi a Tabernaculului, 27 cinci pentru cadrul celei de-a doua părţi a Tabernaculului şi cinci pentru cadrul din spate al Tabernaculului, orientat spre apus. 28 Drugul din centru să treacă prin mijlocul cadrului, de la un capăt la celălalt. 29 Să poleieşti cadrul cu aur şi să faci din aur inelele care ţin drugii poleiţi cu aur.
30 Să ridici Tabernaculul după modelul care ţi-a fost arătat pe munte.
Cele două draperii
31 Să faci o draperie din fire de culoare albastră, purpurie şi cărămizie şi din fir de in subţire răsucit, cu heruvimi brodaţi pe ea cu măiestrie. 32 Să o prinzi pe patru stâlpi din lemn de salcâm poleiţi cu aur, care au cârlige de aur şi care sunt fixaţi pe patru piedestale de argint. 33 Să atârni draperia de cârlige şi să aduci Chivotul Mărturiei înăuntru, în spatele draperiei. Draperia va despărţi Locul Sfânt de Locul Preasfânt. 34 Să pui Capacul Ispăşirii peste Chivotul Mărturiei în Locul Preasfânt. 35 Să pui masa dincoace de draperie, în partea de nord a Tabernaculului, iar sfeşnicul în partea de sud, faţă în faţă cu masa.
36 Pentru intrarea în cort să faci o draperie de culoare albastră, purpurie şi cărămizie, din fir de in subţire răsucit, lucrată la gherghef. 37 Pentru această draperie să faci cinci stâlpi din lemn de salcâm pe care să-i poleieşti cu aur. Cârligele să le fie de aur şi să torni pentru ei cinci piedestale de bronz.

26 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.
2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
7 And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
9 And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.
10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
11 And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.
13 And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.
17 Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
18 And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
19 And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
20 And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:
21 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
22 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.
23 And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
24 And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
25 And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26 And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
27 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.
28 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end.
29 And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold.
30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
31 And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:
32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.
34 And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
35 And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.
36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
37 And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.

26 “Moreover (B)you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine woven linen and blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave them. 2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits. And every one of the curtains shall have [a]the same measurements. 3 Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another. 4 And you shall make loops of blue yarn on the edge of the curtain on the selvedge of one set, and likewise you shall do on the outer edge of the other curtain of the second set. 5 Fifty loops you shall make in the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is on the end of the second set, that the loops may be clasped to one another. 6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains together with the clasps, so that it may be one tabernacle.
7 (C)“You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair, to be a tent over the tabernacle. You shall make eleven curtains. 8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits; and the eleven curtains shall all have the same measurements. 9 And you shall couple five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves, and you shall double over the sixth curtain at the forefront of the tent. 10 You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain of the second set. 11 And you shall make fifty bronze clasps, put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. 12 The remnant that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. 13 And a cubit on one side and a cubit on the other side, of what remains of the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and on that side, to cover it.
14 (D)“You shall also make a covering of ram skins dyed red for the tent, and a covering of badger skins above that.
15 “And for the tabernacle you shall (E)make the boards of acacia wood, standing upright. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the width of each board. 17 Two [b]tenons shall be in each board for binding one to another. Thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle. 18 And you shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side. 19 You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under each of the boards for its two tenons. 20 And for the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, there shall be twenty boards 21 and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under each of the boards. 22 For the far side of the tabernacle, westward, you shall make six boards. 23 And you shall also make two boards for the two back corners of the tabernacle. 24 They shall be [c]coupled together at the bottom and they shall be coupled together at the top by one ring. Thus it shall be for both of them. They shall be for the two corners. 25 So there shall be eight boards with their sockets of silver—sixteen sockets—two sockets under each of the boards.
26 “And you shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards on one side of the tabernacle, 27 five bars for the boards on the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far side westward. 28 The (F)middle bar shall pass through the midst of the boards from end to end. 29 You shall overlay the boards with gold, make their rings of gold as holders for the bars, and overlay the bars with gold. 30 And you shall raise up the tabernacle (G)according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain.
31 (H)“You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim. 32 You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver. 33 And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring (I)the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between (J)the holy place and the Most Holy. 34 (K)You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. 35 (L)You shall set the table outside the veil, and (M)the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.
36 (N)“You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. 37 And you shall make for the screen (O)five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.

15 “You shall make upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame. 17 There shall be two tenons in each frame, for fitting together. So shall you do for all the frames of the tabernacle. 18 You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side; 19 and forty bases of silver you shall make under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons; 20 and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side twenty frames, 21 and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame, and two bases under the next frame. 22 And for the rear of the tabernacle westward you shall make six frames. 23 And you shall make two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear; 24 they shall be separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring. Thus shall it be with both of them; they shall form the two corners. 25 And there shall be eight frames, with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame.
26 “You shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle, 27 and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward. 28 The middle bar, halfway up the frames, shall run from end to end. 29 You shall overlay the frames with gold and shall make their rings of gold for (H)holders for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold. 30 Then you shall erect the tabernacle (I)according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain.
31 (J)“And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and (K)fine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim (L)skillfully worked into it. 32 And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver. 33 And you shall hang (M)the veil from the clasps, and bring (N)the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.
