²³ Then Moses stretched out his staff toward heaven, and the ^(A)Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down to the earth. And the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

¹¹ And as they fled before Israel, while they were ^(A)going down the ascent of Beth-horon, ^(B)the Lord threw down large stones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died because of the hailstones than the sons of Israel killed with the sword.

²² With pestilence and bloodshed ^(A)I will enter into judgment with him, and ^(B)I will rain upon him and ^(C)his hordes and the many peoples who are with him ^(D)torrential rains and hailstones, ^(E)fire and sulfur.

³⁰ And the Lord ^(A)will cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger ^(B)and a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst ^(C)and storm and hailstones.

⁷ The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed ^(A)hail and ^(B)fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a ^(C)third of the earth was burned up, and a third of ^(D)the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
