⁸ You shall make it hollow, with boards. ^(A)As it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made.

⁴⁰ And ^(A)see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain.

^9 (A)Exactly as I show you concerning the pattern of the ^(B)tabernacle, and of all its furniture, so you shall make it.

⁵ They serve ^(A)a copy and ^(B)shadow of the heavenly things. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, ^(C)“See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.”

²⁰ If with Christ ^(A)you died to the ^(B)elemental spirits of the world, ^(C)why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations— ^21 (D)“Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” ²² (^(E)referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to ^(F)human precepts and teachings? ²³ These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in ^(G)promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are ^(H)of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.

¹⁹ “All this he made clear to me in writing from the hand of the Lord, ^(A)all the work to be done according to the plan.”

¹¹ Then David gave Solomon his son the ^(A)plan of the ^(B)vestibule of the temple,^[a] and of its houses, its treasuries, its upper rooms, and its inner chambers, and of the room for the ^(C)mercy seat;

³⁰ Then you shall erect the tabernacle ^(A)according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain.

^31 (B)“And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and ^(C)fine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim ^(D)skillfully worked into it. ³² And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver. ³³ And you shall hang ^(E)the veil from the clasps, and bring ^(F)the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy. ^34 (G)You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place. ³⁵ And ^(H)you shall set the table outside the veil, and the ^(I)lampstand on the south side of the tabernacle opposite the table, and you shall put the table on the north side.

³⁶ “You shall make a ^(J)screen for the entrance of the tent, of ^(K)blue and purple and scarlet yarns and ^(L)fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. ³⁷ And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.
