The Three Annual Festivals

¹⁴ “Three times^(A) a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.

¹⁶ Three times a year all your men must appear^(A) before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread,^(B) the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles.^(C) No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:^(D)

³⁴ “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh^(A) month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles^(B) begins, and it lasts for seven days.

¹⁶ Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath,^(A) and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord.

⁵ The Lord’s Passover^(A) begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.^(B)

²² “Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits^(A) of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering^(B) at the turn of the year.^{[a] 23} Three times^(C) a year all your men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel. ²⁴ I will drive out nations^(D) before you and enlarge your territory,^(E) and no one will covet your land when you go up three times each year to appear before the Lord your God.
