¹²because the struggle^[a] for us is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-powers^[b] of this darkness, against the spiritual forces^[c] of evilness in the heavenly-places. ¹³For this reason, take-up the full-armor of God in order that you may be able to resist^[d] on the evil day, and having worked^[e] everything, to stand.
