11 Therefore remember that (A)previously (B)you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “(C)Uncircumcision” by the so-called “(D)Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, [a](E)excluded from [b]the people of Israel, and strangers to (F)the covenants of the promise, having (G)no hope and (H)without God in the world. 13 But now in (I)Christ Jesus you who (J)previously were (K)far away [c]have (L)been brought near [d](M)by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is (N)our peace, (O)who made both groups into one and broke down the [e]barrier of the dividing wall, 15 [f]by (P)abolishing [g]in His flesh the hostility, which is (Q)the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might [h](R)make the two (S)one new person, in this way establishing (T)peace; 16 and that He might (U)reconcile them both in (V)one body to God through the cross, [i]by it having (W)put to death the hostility. 17 And (X)He came and preached (Y)peace to you who were (Z)far away, and peace to those who were (AA)near; 18 for through Him we both have (AB)our access in (AC)one Spirit to (AD)the Father. 19 So then you are no longer (AE)strangers and foreigners, but you are (AF)fellow citizens with the [j]saints, and are of (AG)God’s household, 20 having been (AH)built on (AI)the foundation of (AJ)the apostles and prophets, (AK)Christ Jesus Himself being the (AL)cornerstone, 21 (AM)in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into (AN)a holy [k]temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being (AO)built together into a (AP)dwelling of God in the Spirit.

Paul’s Stewardship

For this reason I, Paul, (AQ)the prisoner of (AR)Christ Jesus (AS)for the sake of you (AT)Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the (AU)administration of God’s grace which was given to me for you; (AV)that (AW)by revelation there was (AX)made known to me (AY)the mystery, (AZ)as I wrote before briefly. [l]By referring to this, when you read you can understand (BA)my insight [m]into the (BB)mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to [n]mankind, as it has now been revealed to His holy (BC)apostles and prophets [o]in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are (BD)fellow heirs and (BE)fellow members of the body, and (BF)fellow partakers of the promise in (BG)Christ Jesus through the gospel, (BH)of which I was made a (BI)minister, according to the gift of (BJ)God’s grace which was given to me (BK)according to the working of His power. To me, (BL)the very least of all [p]saints, this grace was given, to (BM)preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable (BN)riches of Christ, and to [q]enlighten all people as to what the plan of the (BO)mystery is which for ages has been (BP)hidden in God, (BQ)who created all things; 10 so that the multifaceted (BR)wisdom of God might now be (BS)made known through the church to the (BT)rulers and the authorities in (BU)the heavenly places. 11 This was in (BV)accordance with the [r]eternal purpose which He [s]carried out in (BW)Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and [t](BX)confident (BY)access through faith [u]in Him. 13 Therefore I ask [v]you not (BZ)to become discouraged about my tribulations (CA)in your behalf, [w]since they are your glory.

14 For this reason I (CB)bend my knees before the Father, 15 from whom [x]every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to (CC)the riches of His glory, to be (CD)strengthened with power through His Spirit in (CE)the inner [y]self, 17 so that (CF)Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being (CG)rooted and (CH)grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with (CI)all the [z]saints what is (CJ)the width and length and height and depth, 19 and to know (CK)the love of Christ which (CL)surpasses knowledge, that you may be (CM)filled to all the (CN)fullness of God.

20 (CO)Now to Him who is (CP)able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, (CQ)according to the power that works within us, 21 (CR)to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations [aa]forever and ever. Amen.
