²² I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are,^(A) and that he may encourage you.^(B)

Final Greetings

⁷ Tychicus^(A) will tell you all the news about me. He is a dear brother, a faithful minister and fellow servant^[a](B) in the Lord. ⁸ I am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our^[b] circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts.^(C)

²⁵ But I think it is necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, co-worker^(A) and fellow soldier,^(B) who is also your messenger, whom you sent to take care of my needs.^(C)

¹⁷ encourage^(A) your hearts and strengthen^(B) you in every good deed and word.

² We sent Timothy,^(A) who is our brother and co-worker^(B) in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ,^(C) to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,

² My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart^(A) and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery^(B) of God, namely, Christ,
