Ecclesiastes 5:6-9
New American Standard Bible 1995
6 Do not let your [a]speech cause [b]you to sin and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a (A)mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands? 7 For in many dreams and in many words there is [c]emptiness. Rather, [d](B)fear God.
8 If you see (C)oppression of the poor and (D)denial of justice and righteousness in the province, do not be (E)shocked at the [e]sight; for one [f]official watches over another [g]official, and there are higher [h]officials over them. 9 After all, a king who cultivates the field is an advantage to the land.
