4 If the ruler’s [a]temper rises against you, (A)do not abandon your place, because (B)composure puts great offenses to rest.
36 But I tell you that for every [a]careless word that people [b]speak, they will give an account of it on the (A)day of judgment.
4 and there must be no (A)filthiness [a]or foolish talk, or vulgar joking, which (B)are not fitting, but rather (C)giving of thanks.
8 But now you also, (A)rid yourselves of all of them: (B)anger, wrath, malice, slander, and (C)obscene speech from your mouth.
