²⁶ I prayed to the Lord:

Lord God, do not annihilate your people, your inheritance, whom you redeemed^(A) through your greatness and brought out of Egypt with a strong hand.

¹⁵ Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed^(A) you; that is why I am giving you this command today.^(B)

¹⁸ Remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed^(A) you from there. Therefore I am commanding you to do this.^(B)
