² And you shall remember that the Lord your God ^(A)led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and ^(B)test you, ^(C)to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

³ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God ^(A)is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

²² “The Lord ^(A)God of gods, the Lord God of gods, He ^(B)knows, and let Israel itself know—if it is in rebellion, or if in treachery against the Lord, do not save us this day.

¹⁵ And He said to them, “You are those who ^(A)justify yourselves ^(B)before men, but ^(C)God knows your hearts. For ^(D)what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

¹¹ Why? ^(A)Because I do not love you? God knows!
