2 He saw all the land that would belong to Naphtali, Ephraim, Manasseh and Judah, as far as the Mediterranean Sea in the west. 3 He saw the Negev desert in the south. He saw the valley that goes from Jericho as far as Zoar. Jericho is called ‘The city of palm trees’.
4 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘This is the land that I promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I told them that I would give it to their descendants. Now I have let you see the land, but you will not go across the river into it.’

2 all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,(A) 3 the Negev(B) and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms,(C) as far as Zoar.(D) 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(E) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(F) when I said, ‘I will give it(G) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(H) over into it.”
