Deuteronomy 32:6-8

New International Version

⁶ Is this the way you repay^(A) the Lord,
    you foolish^(B) and unwise people?^(C)
Is he not your Father,^(D) your Creator,^[a]
    who made you and formed you?^(E)

⁷ Remember the days of old;^(F)
    consider the generations long past.^(G)
Ask your father and he will tell you,
    your elders, and they will explain to you.^(H)
8 When the Most High^(I) gave the nations their inheritance,
    when he divided all mankind,^(J)
he set up boundaries^(K) for the peoples
    according to the number of the sons of Israel.^[b](L)
