¹⁶ They provoked his jealousy with different gods;
they enraged him with detestable practices.^(A)

¹³ Only acknowledge your guilt^(A)—
you have rebelled against the Lord your God.^(B)
You have scattered your favors to strangers
under every green tree^(C)
and have not obeyed me.
