Deuteronomy 21:20-22

²⁰ And they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he does not obey us, he is thoughtless and given to drinking.’ ^21 (A)Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so ^(B)you shall eliminate the evil from your midst, and ^(C)all Israel will hear about it and fear.

²² “Now if ^[a]a person has committed a sin carrying ^(D)a sentence of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on ^[b]a tree,
