^15 (A)Indeed, the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from within the camp until they all perished.

¹¹ Therefore they ^(A)sent word and gathered all the governors of the Philistines, and said, “Send away the ark of the God of Israel and let it return to its own place, so that it will not kill ^[a]us and ^[b]our people!” For there was a deadly panic throughout the city; ^(B)the hand of God was very heavy there.

^13 (A)So the Philistines were subdued, and ^(B)they did not come anymore within the border of Israel. And the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

¹⁵ But ^(A)if you do not listen to the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the ^[a]command of the Lord, then ^(B)the hand of the Lord will be against you, ^(C)even as it was against your fathers.
