¹³ You shall be ^[a]blameless before the Lord your God.

⁴ For it was so, when Solomon was old, ^(A)that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his ^(B)heart was not ^[a]loyal to the Lord his God, ^(C)as was the heart of his father David.

³ And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; ^(A)his heart was not ^[a]loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.

^14 (A)But the ^[a]high places were not removed. Nevertheless Asa’s ^(B)heart was loyal to the Lord all his days.

^3 (A)“Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
