⁵ Instead, turn to the place the Lord your God chooses^(A) from all your tribes to put his name for his dwelling and go there.

⁷ I will cut off Israel from the land I gave them,^(A) and I will reject^[a] the temple I have sanctified for my name.^(B) Israel will become an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples.^(C)
