¹⁷ For the Lord your God is the God of gods^(A) and Lord of lords,^(B) the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.^(C)

⁷ And now, may the terror of the Lord be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the Lord our God.”^(A)

¹¹ For there is no favoritism with God.^(A)

⁶ Now from those recognized as important (what they^[a] once were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism^[b](A))—they added nothing to me.

⁹ And masters, treat your slaves the same way, without threatening^(A) them, because you know that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism^(B) with him.^(C)

²⁵ For the wrongdoer^(A) will be paid back for whatever wrong he has done, and there is no favoritism.

¹⁷ If you appeal to the Father who judges impartially^(A) according to each one’s work,^(B) you are to conduct yourselves in reverence^(C) during your time living as strangers.
