GOD’S WORD Translation
27 The kingdom, along with the power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven, will be given to the holy people of the Most High. Their kingdom is eternal. All other powers will serve and obey them.”
28 Here is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was terrified by my thoughts, and I turned pale. I kept this to myself.

27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms(A) under heaven will be handed over to the holy people(B) of the Most High.(C) His kingdom will be an everlasting(D) kingdom, and all rulers will worship(E) and obey him.’
28 “This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled(F) by my thoughts,(G) and my face turned pale,(H) but I kept the matter to myself.”

28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
