26 Ganito naman ang kahulugan ng tuod na naiwan sa lupa: Maghahari kayong muli sa sandaling kilalanin ninyo na lahat ng tao'y nasa ilalim ng kapangyarihan ng Diyos. 27 Kaya,(A) mahal na hari, dinggin po ninyo itong ipapayo ko. Tigilan na ninyo ang inyong kasamaan at magpakabuti na kayo. Huwag po kayong maging malupit sa mahihirap na mamamayan upang manatiling payapa ang inyong buhay.”

28 Lahat ng ito'y naganap sa buhay ni Haring Nebucadnezar.

26 “And inasmuch as they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be assured to you, after you come to know that (A)Heaven[a] rules. 27 Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; (B)break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. (C)Perhaps there may be (D)a [b]lengthening of your prosperity.”

27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
