Daniel 11:17-19

17 And he will set his face to come with the authority of his whole kingdom and will form an agreement;[a] and he will act,[b] and the daughter of women he will give to him to destroy it,[c] but the ploy will not succeed and she will not support him.[d] 18 And he will turn his face to the coastlands, and he will capture many, but[e] a commander will end his insults to him so that instead his insults will turn back upon him.[f] 19 And he will turn back his face toward[g] the strongholds of his land, but he will stumble and he will fall and will not be found.

New International Version
17 He will determine to come with the might of his entire kingdom and will make an alliance with the king of the South. And he will give him a daughter in marriage in order to overthrow the kingdom, but his plans[a] will not succeed(A) or help him. 18 Then he will turn his attention to the coastlands(B) and will take many of them, but a commander will put an end to his insolence and will turn his insolence back on him.(C) 19 After this, he will turn back toward the fortresses of his own country but will stumble and fall,(D) to be seen no more.(E)
