Daniel 11:15-17
English Standard Version
15 Then the king of the north shall come and (A)throw up siegeworks and take a well-fortified city. And the forces of the south shall not stand, or even his best troops, for there shall be no strength to stand. 16 But he who comes against him shall (B)do as he wills, and (C)none shall stand before him. And he shall stand in (D)the glorious land, with destruction in his hand. 17 He shall (E)set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and he shall bring terms of an agreement and perform them. He shall give him the daughter of women to destroy the kingdom,[a] but it shall not stand or be to his advantage.

15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

15 Then the king of the North will come, pile up an (A)assault ramp, and capture a well-fortified city; and the forces of the South will not stand their ground, not even [a]their choicest troops, for there will be no strength to make a stand. 16 But he who comes against him will (B)do as he pleases, and (C)no one will be able to withstand him; he will also stay for a time in the [b](D)Beautiful Land, with destruction in his hand. 17 And he will (E)set his [c]mind on coming with the power of his entire kingdom, [d]bringing with him [e]a proposal of peace which he will put into effect; he will also give him the daughter of women to ruin it. But she will not take a stand for him or be [f]on his side.
