18 And he again touched[a] me, the one in the form of a human,[b] and he strengthened me. 19 And he said, “You must not fear, O beloved man. Peace be to you;[c] be strong and be courageous!” And when he spoke[d] with me, I was strengthened and I said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.” 20 Then he asked, “Do you know why I have come to you? And now I return to fight against the prince of Persia and I myself[e] am going, and look,[f] the prince of Javan[g] will come.

18 Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. 19 (A)And he said, “O man greatly beloved, (B)fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!”
So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
20 Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight (C)with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come.
