¹⁶ And I heard a man’s voice ^(A)between the banks of the Ulai, who called, and said, ^(B)“Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.”

Christ’s Birth Announced to Mary

²⁶ Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,

¹⁹ And the angel answered and said to him, “I am ^(A)Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you ^[a]these glad ^(B)tidings.

⁵ Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that ^(A)riverbank. ⁶ And one said to the man clothed in ^(B)linen, who was above the waters of the river, ^(C)“How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?”

⁷ Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he ^(D)held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him ^(E)who lives forever, ^(F)that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; ^(G)and when the power of ^(H)the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.

² I saw in the vision, and it so happened while I was looking, that I was in ^(A)Shushan,^[a] the ^[b]citadel, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision that I was by the River Ulai.

^16 (A)“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. ^(B)I am the Root and the Offspring of David, ^(C)the Bright and Morning Star.”

^14 (A)Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will ^(B)inherit salvation?

¹³ And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.”

⁷ And ^(A)the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.

⁴ who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ^(A)‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.
