Ranh Giới Xứ Ca-na-an
34 Chúa phán với Môi-se rằng, 2 “Hãy truyền cho dân I-sơ-ra-ên và bảo chúng: Khi các ngươi vào trong xứ Ca-na-an, xứ các ngươi sẽ nhận làm sản nghiệp, xứ Ca-na-an đó có ranh giới như sau:
3 Ranh giới miền nam của các ngươi sẽ từ Ðồng Hoang Xin chạy dọc theo biên thùy nước Ê-đôm, hay nói rõ hơn ranh giới miền nam của các ngươi sẽ bắt đầu từ phía đông ở cuối Biển Muối;[a] 4 ranh giới của các ngươi sẽ từ đó chạy vòng xuống phía nam, giáp các ngọn núi Ạc-ráp-bim, rồi băng ngang qua Ðồng Hoang Xin đến ranh giới phía nam của Ca-đe Ba-nê-a, chạy tiếp đến Ha-xa Át-đa, và tiếp tục cắt ngang qua A-xơ-môn; 5 từ A-xơ-môn đường ranh giới sẽ vòng xuống Suối Ai-cập, và chạy dọc theo suối ra đến biển.[b]
6 Về ranh giới phía tây, các ngươi sẽ có Biển Lớn,[c] và nó sẽ làm biên thùy phía tây.
7 Ðây là ranh giới phía bắc của các ngươi: từ Biển Lớn các ngươi sẽ vạch một đường cho đến Núi Hô-rơ; 8 từ Núi Hô-rơ các ngươi sẽ kéo một đường đến Lê-bô Ha-ma; từ đó đường ranh giới sẽ đến và bao gồm cả Xê-đát, 9 rồi từ đó sẽ chạy đến Xíp-phơ-rôn, và chấm dứt tại Ha-xa Ê-nan. Ðó sẽ là ranh giới phía bắc của các ngươi.
10 Các ngươi sẽ làm dấu ranh giới ở phía đông bắt đầu từ Ha-xa Ê-nan chạy đến Sê-pham; 11 đường ranh giới của các ngươi sẽ chạy từ Sê-pham xuống Ríp-la về phía đông của A-in; rồi đường ranh giới sẽ tiếp tục đi xuống cho đến triền đồi phía đông của Biển Kin-nê-rét;[d] 12 đường ranh giới sẽ tiếp tục chạy dọc xuống theo Sông Giô-đanh và chấm dứt tại Biển Muối.[e]
Ðó sẽ là xứ sở của các ngươi với các ranh giới chung quanh.”
13 Môi-se truyền lịnh cho dân I-sơ-ra-ên rằng, “Ðó là xứ sở anh chị em sẽ bốc thăm để chia nhau ở; đó là xứ mà Chúa đã truyền ban cho chín chi tộc rưỡi còn lại, 14 vì chi tộc của con cháu Ru-bên theo các gia tộc của họ, chi tộc của con cháu Gát theo các gia tộc của họ, cùng với phân nửa chi tộc Ma-na-se, 15 tức hai chi tộc rưỡi đã nhận phần sản nghiệp của họ bên phía đông Sông Giô-đanh, đối ngang Giê-ri-cô, tức bên phía mặt trời mọc rồi.”

16 Chúa phán với Môi-se, 17 “Ðây là tên những người sẽ chia xứ cho các ngươi làm sản nghiệp: Tư Tế Ê-lê-a-xa và Giô-suê con của Nun. 18 Các ngươi cũng phải lấy thêm trong mỗi chi tộc một người lãnh đạo để hiệp với các ngươi chia đất cho dân làm sản nghiệp. 19 Ðây là tên những người ấy:
Chi tộc Giu-đa, Ca-lép con của Giê-phu-nê.
20 Chi tộc Si-mê-ôn, Sê-mu-ên con của Am-mi-hút.
21 Chi tộc Bên-gia-min, Ê-li-đát con của Kích-lôn.
22 Chi tộc Ðan, Thủ Lãnh Búc-ki con của Gióp-li.
23 Trong con cháu Giô-sép:
Chi tộc Ma-na-se, Thủ Lãnh Han-ni-ên con của Ê-phốt;
24 Và chi tộc Ép-ra-im, Thủ Lãnh Kê-mu-ên con của Síp-phơ-tan.
25 Chi tộc Xê-bu-lun, Thủ Lãnh Ê-li Xa-phan con của Pạc-nách.
26 Chi tộc I-sa-ca, Thủ Lãnh Pan-ti-ên con của A-xan.
27 Chi tộc A-se, Thủ Lãnh A-hi-hút con của Sê-lô-mi.
28 Chi tộc Náp-ta-li, Thủ Lãnh Pê-đa-hên con của Am-mi-hút.”
29 Ðó là những người Chúa đã truyền có trách nhiệm phải chia đất cho dân I-sơ-ra-ên, để họ nhận làm sản nghiệp trong xứ Ca-na-an.

Boundaries of Canaan
34 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Command the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter Canaan,(A) the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance(B) is to have these boundaries:(C)
3 “‘Your southern side will include some of the Desert of Zin(D) along the border of Edom. Your southern boundary will start in the east from the southern end of the Dead Sea,(E) 4 cross south of Scorpion Pass,(F) continue on to Zin and go south of Kadesh Barnea.(G) Then it will go to Hazar Addar and over to Azmon,(H) 5 where it will turn, join the Wadi of Egypt(I) and end at the Mediterranean Sea.
6 “‘Your western boundary will be the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.(J) This will be your boundary on the west.(K)
7 “‘For your northern boundary,(L) run a line from the Mediterranean Sea to Mount Hor(M) 8 and from Mount Hor to Lebo Hamath.(N) Then the boundary will go to Zedad, 9 continue to Ziphron and end at Hazar Enan. This will be your boundary on the north.
10 “‘For your eastern boundary,(O) run a line from Hazar Enan to Shepham. 11 The boundary will go down from Shepham to Riblah(P) on the east side of Ain(Q) and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Galilee.[a](R) 12 Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan and end at the Dead Sea.
“‘This will be your land, with its boundaries on every side.’”
13 Moses commanded the Israelites: “Assign this land by lot(S) as an inheritance.(T) The Lord has ordered that it be given to the nine and a half tribes, 14 because the families of the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.(U) 15 These two and a half tribes have received their inheritance east of the Jordan across from Jericho, toward the sunrise.”
16 The Lord said to Moses, 17 “These are the names of the men who are to assign the land for you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua(V) son of Nun. 18 And appoint one leader from each tribe to help(W) assign the land.(X) 19 These are their names:(Y)
Caleb(Z) son of Jephunneh,
from the tribe of Judah;(AA)
20 Shemuel son of Ammihud,
from the tribe of Simeon;(AB)
21 Elidad son of Kislon,
from the tribe of Benjamin;(AC)
22 Bukki son of Jogli,
the leader from the tribe of Dan;
23 Hanniel son of Ephod,
the leader from the tribe of Manasseh(AD) son of Joseph;
24 Kemuel son of Shiphtan,
the leader from the tribe of Ephraim(AE) son of Joseph;
25 Elizaphan son of Parnak,
the leader from the tribe of Zebulun;(AF)
26 Paltiel son of Azzan,
the leader from the tribe of Issachar;
27 Ahihud son of Shelomi,
the leader from the tribe of Asher;(AG)
28 Pedahel son of Ammihud,
the leader from the tribe of Naphtali.”
29 These are the men the Lord commanded to assign the inheritance to the Israelites in the land of Canaan.(AH)

3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
4 And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
7 And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
8 From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.
10 And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:
11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
16 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29 These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

Boundaries of the Land
34 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the people of Israel, and say to them, When you enter (A)the land of Canaan (B)(this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan as defined by its borders), 3 (C)your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside Edom, and your southern border shall run from the end of (D)the Salt Sea on the east. 4 And your border shall turn south of (E)the ascent of Akrabbim, and cross to Zin, and its limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to (F)Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon. 5 And the border shall turn (G)from Azmon to (H)the Brook of Egypt, and its limit shall be at the sea.
6 “For the western border, you shall have the Great Sea and its[a] coast. This shall be your western border.
7 “This shall be your northern border: from the Great Sea you shall draw a line to (I)Mount Hor. 8 From Mount Hor you shall draw a line (J)to Lebo-hamath, and the limit of the border shall be at (K)Zedad. 9 Then the border shall extend to Ziphron, and its limit shall be at (L)Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern border.
10 “You shall draw a line for your eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham. 11 And the border shall go down from Shepham to (M)Riblah on the east side of Ain. And the border shall go down and reach to the shoulder of (N)the Sea of Chinnereth on the east. 12 And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limit shall be at (O)the Salt Sea. This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.”
13 Moses commanded the people of Israel, saying, (P)“This is the land that you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. 14 (Q)For the tribe of the people of Reuben by fathers' houses and the tribe of the people of Gad by their fathers' houses have received their inheritance, and also the half-tribe of Manasseh. 15 The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan east of Jericho, toward the sunrise.”
