21 And they dug another be’er, and feuded over that also; and he called the shem of it Sitnah (Enmity).

22 And he moved away from there, and dug another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the shem of it Rechovot (Broad Places); and he said, For now Hashem hath made rachav (room) for us, and we shall be fruitful in ha’aretz.

23 And he went up from there to Beer-Sheva.

21 Then they dug another well, but they quarreled(A) over that one also; so he named it Sitnah.[a] 22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth,[b](B) saying, “Now the Lord has given us room(C) and we will flourish(D) in the land.”

23 From there he went up to Beersheba.(E)
