Baruch 4:9-11

⁹ For it saw (the) wrathfulness of God coming to you, and it said, Ye nigh coasts of Zion, hear; forsooth God hath brought great mourning to me [or forsooth God brought to me great mourning].

¹⁰ For I saw the captivity of my people, of my sons and daughters, which he that is without beginning and end brought on them. [Forsooth I saw the captivity of my people, of my sons and daughters, which the Everlasting above-brought to them.]

¹¹ For I nourished them with mirth; but I left them (or I let them go) with weeping and mourning.
