Ayuub 29
Somali Bible
29 Oo haddana Ayuub hadalkiisuu sii waday, oo wuxuu yidhi,
2 Waxaan jeclaan lahaa inaan ahaado sidii waayihii hore,
Iyo sidii aan ahaan jiray markii Ilaah i dhawri jiray,
3 Markay laambaddiisu madaxayga ku ifin jirtay,
Oo aan nuurkiisa gudcurka ku dhex mari jiray,
4 Markii aan xoog lahaan jiray,
Oo qarsoodiga Ilaahna teendhadayda saarnaan jiray,
5 Markii Ilaaha Qaadirka ahu ila jiri jiray,
Oo carruurtayduna ay hareerahayga joogi jireen,
6 Markay tallaabooyinkaygu subagga la barwaaqoobi jireen,
Oo ay webiyaasha saliidda ahu dhagaxa iiga soo shubmi jireen!
7 Markaan magaalada iriddeeda u bixi jiray,
Oo aan kursigayga meel bannaan ku diyaarin jiray.
8 Dhallinyaradu intay i arkaan ayay dhuuman jireen,
Oo odayaashuna intay sara joogsadaan ayay istaagi jireen,
9 Amiirraduna intay hadalka joojiyaan,
Ayay afka gacanta saari jireen.
10 Ragga gobta ahuna way aamusi jireen,
Oo carrabkoodiina dhabxanagguu ku dhegi jiray.
11 Waayo, markii dhegu i maqasho, way ii ducayn jirtay,
Oo iluna markay i aragto, way ii marag furi jirtay.
12 Maxaa yeelay, waxaan samatabbixin jiray miskiinka qaylinaya,
Iyo weliba agoonka aan wax u kaalmeeya lahayn.
13 Ka halligaadda ku dhow ducadiisa ayaa igu soo degi jirtay,
Oo ta carmalka ahna qalbigeeda waan ka farxin jiray ilaa ay gabay la rayrayso.
14 Waxaan huwan jiray xaqnimo, oo iyana dhar bay ii noqon jirtay,
Oo caddaaladdayduna waxay ii ahaan jirtay sida khamiis iyo cimaamad oo kale.
15 Kuwa indhaha la' indho baan u ahaan jiray,
Kuwa curyaanka ahna cago baan u ahaan jiray.
16 Aabbaan u ahaan jiray saboolka baahan,
Oo ka aanan aqoonna xaalkiisa waan baadhi jiray.
17 Ka xaqa daran daamankiisa waan jebin jiray,
Oo wixii uu dhufsadana ilkihiisaan ka soo bixin jiray.
18 Markaasaan is-idhi, Buulkaygaan ku dhex dhiman doonaa,
Oo cimrigayguna wuxuu u badan doonaa sida cammuudda oo kale.
19 Xididkaygu biyaha xaggooduu u faafayaa,
Oo laamahaygana habeenkii oo dhan waxaa saaran sayax.
20 Sharaftaydu way igu cusub tahay,
Oo qaansadayduna gacantayday ku cusboonaatay.
21 Dadku dhegtuu ii dhigi jiray, oo i sugi jiray,
Oo taladayda aawadeedna way u aamusi jireen.
22 Weligood igama ay daba hadlin,
Oo hadalkayguna korkooduu ku soo dhibci jiray.
23 Oo waxay ii dhawri jireen sidii roobka oo kale,
Oo waxay afkooda u kala furi jireen sidii roobka dambe loo sugo.
24 Waan u af caddayn jiray markay qalbi jabaan,
Oo nuurkii jaahaygana hoos uma ay tuuri jirin.
25 Waxaan dooran jiray jidkooda, oo sida nin madax ah ayaan u fadhiisan jiray,
Oo waxaan u dhaqmi jiray sidii boqor ciidan dhex fadhiya,
Iyo sidii mid u tacsiyeeya kuwa baroorta.
Job 29
Living Bible
29 Job continues:
2 “Oh, for the years gone by when God took care of me, 3 when he lighted the way before me and I walked safely through the darkness; 4 yes, in my early years, when the friendship of God was felt in my home; 5 when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me; 6 when my projects prospered and even the rock poured out streams of olive oil to me!
7 “Those were the days when I went out to the city gate and took my place among the honored elders. 8 The young saw me and stepped aside, and even the aged rose and stood up in respect at my coming. 9 The princes stood in silence and laid their hands upon their mouths. 10 The highest officials of the city stood in quietness. 11 All rejoiced in what I said. All who saw me spoke well of me.
12 “For I, as an honest judge,[a] helped the poor in their need and the fatherless who had no one to help them. 13 I helped those who were ready to perish, and they blessed me. And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy. 14 All I did was just and honest, for righteousness was my clothing! 15 I served as eyes for the blind and feet for the lame. 16 I was as a father to the poor and saw to it that even strangers received a fair trial. 17 I knocked out the fangs of the godless oppressors and made them drop their victims.
18 “I thought, ‘Surely I shall die quietly in my nest after a long, good life.’ 19 For everything I did prospered; the dew lay all night upon my fields and watered them. 20 Fresh honors were constantly given me, and my abilities were constantly refreshed and renewed. 21 Everyone listened to me and valued my advice, and was silent until I spoke. 22 And after I spoke, they spoke no more, for my counsel satisfied them. 23 They longed for me to speak as those in drought-time long for rain. They waited eagerly with open mouths. 24 When they were discouraged, I smiled and that encouraged them and lightened their spirits. 25 I told them what they should do and corrected them as their chief, or as a king instructs his army, and as one who comforts those who mourn.
