6 ¶ Y miré cuando el Cordero hubo abierto el primer sello, y oí al primero de los cuatro animales diciendo como con una voz de trueno: Ven y ve.
2 Y miré, y he aquí un caballo blanco; y el que estaba sentado encima de él, tenía un arco; y le fue dada una corona, y salió victorioso, para que también venciera.
3 ¶ Y cuando él hubo abierto el segundo sello, oí al segundo animal, que decía: Ven y ve.
4 Y salió otro caballo bermejo, y al que estaba sentado sobre él, le fue dado poder de quitar la paz de la tierra; y que se maten unos a otros; y le fue dada una gran espada.
5 Y cuando él hubo abierto el tercer sello, oí al tercer animal, que decía: Ven y ve. Y miré, y he aquí un caballo negro; y el que estaba sentado encima de él, tenía un yugo en su mano.
6 Y oí una voz en medio de los cuatro animales, que decía: Un cheniz de trigo por un denario, y tres chenizes de cebada por un denario; y no hagas daño al vino, ni al aceite.
7 Y cuando él hubo abierto el cuarto sello, oí la voz del cuarto animal, que decía: Ven y ve.
8 Y miré, y he aquí un caballo verde; y el que estaba sentado sobre él tenía por nombre Muerte; y el Hades le seguía; y le fue dada potestad sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra, para matar con espada, con hambre, con mortandad, y con las bestias de la tierra.
9 ¶ Y cuando él hubo abierto el quinto sello, vi debajo del altar las almas de los que habían sido muertos por causa de la palabra de Dios y por el testimonio que ellos tenían.
10 Y clamaban a alta voz diciendo: ¿Hasta cuándo, Señor, Santo y Verdadero, no juzgas y vengas nuestra sangre de los que moran en la tierra?
11 Y les fueron dadas sendas ropas blancas, y les fue dicho que aun reposaran todavía un poco de tiempo, hasta que sus compañeros consiervos, sus hermanos, que también habían de ser muertos como ellos fueran cumplidos.
12 Y miré cuando él hubo abierto el sexto sello, y he aquí fue hecho un gran terremoto; y el sol se puso negro como un saco de cilicio, y la luna fue hecha toda como sangre.
13 Y las estrellas del cielo cayeron sobre la tierra; como la higuera echa sus higos cuando es movida de gran viento.
14 Y el cielo se apartó como un libro que es envuelto; y todo monte e islas fueron movidas de sus lugares.
15 Y los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes, y los ricos, y los capitanes, y los fuertes, y todo esclavo y todo libre, se escondieron en las cuevas y entre las piedras de los montes;
16 y decían a los montes y a las piedras: Caed sobre nosotros, y escondednos de la cara de aquel que está sentado sobre el trono, y de la ira del Cordero;
17 porque el gran día de su ira es venido, ¿y quién podrá estar delante de él?

Los sellos
6 Vi cuando el Cordero abrió uno de los sellos, y oí a uno de los cuatro seres vivientes decir como con voz de trueno: Ven y mira. 2 Y miré, y he aquí un caballo blanco;(A) y el que lo montaba tenía un arco; y le fue dada una corona, y salió venciendo, y para vencer.
3 Cuando abrió el segundo sello, oí al segundo ser viviente, que decía: Ven y mira. 4 Y salió otro caballo, bermejo;(B) y al que lo montaba le fue dado poder de quitar de la tierra la paz, y que se matasen unos a otros; y se le dio una gran espada.
5 Cuando abrió el tercer sello, oí al tercer ser viviente, que decía: Ven y mira. Y miré, y he aquí un caballo negro;(C) y el que lo montaba tenía una balanza en la mano. 6 Y oí una voz de en medio de los cuatro seres vivientes, que decía: Dos libras de trigo por un denario, y seis libras de cebada por un denario; pero no dañes el aceite ni el vino.
7 Cuando abrió el cuarto sello, oí la voz del cuarto ser viviente, que decía: Ven y mira. 8 Miré, y he aquí un caballo amarillo, y el que lo montaba tenía por nombre Muerte, y el Hades le seguía; y le fue dada potestad sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra, para matar con espada, con hambre, con mortandad, y con las fieras de la tierra.(D)
9 Cuando abrió el quinto sello, vi bajo el altar las almas de los que habían sido muertos por causa de la palabra de Dios y por el testimonio que tenían. 10 Y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo: ¿Hasta cuándo, Señor, santo y verdadero, no juzgas y vengas nuestra sangre en los que moran en la tierra? 11 Y se les dieron vestiduras blancas, y se les dijo que descansasen todavía un poco de tiempo, hasta que se completara el número de sus consiervos y sus hermanos, que también habían de ser muertos como ellos.
12 Miré cuando abrió el sexto sello, y he aquí hubo un gran terremoto;(E) y el sol se puso negro como tela de cilicio, y la luna se volvió toda como sangre; 13 y las estrellas del cielo cayeron sobre la tierra,(F) como la higuera deja caer sus higos cuando es sacudida por un fuerte viento. 14 Y el cielo se desvaneció como un pergamino que se enrolla;(G) y todo monte y toda isla se removió de su lugar.(H) 15 Y los reyes de la tierra, y los grandes, los ricos, los capitanes, los poderosos, y todo siervo y todo libre, se escondieron en las cuevas y entre las peñas de los montes;(I) 16 y decían a los montes y a las peñas: Caed sobre nosotros, y escondednos(J) del rostro de aquel que está sentado sobre el trono, y de la ira del Cordero; 17 porque el gran día de su ira ha llegado; ¿y quién podrá sostenerse en pie?(K)

6 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
