19 Pagkatapos ng mga bagay na ito ay ^(A)narinig ko ang gaya ng isang malaking tinig ng isang makapal na karamihan sa langit, na nagsasabi,

Aleluya; ^(B)Kaligtasan, at ^(C)kaluwalhatian, at kapangyarihan, ay nauukol sa ating Dios:
²Sapagka't tunay at matuwid ang ^(D)kaniyang mga paghatol; sapagka't hinatulan niya ^(E)ang bantog na patutot, na siyang nagpasama sa lupa ng kaniyang pakikiapid, at ^(F)iginanti niya ang dugo ng kaniyang mga alipin sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang kamay.

³At sila'y muling nangagsabi, Aleluya. ^(G)At ang usok niya ay napaiilanglang magpakailan kailan man.

⁴At nangagpatirapa ang dalawangpu't apat na matatanda ^(H)at ang apat na nilalang na buhay, at nangagsisamba sa Dios na nakaupo sa luklukan, na nangagsasabi, ^(I)Siya nawa; Aleluya.

⁵At lumabas ang isang tinig sa luklukan, na nagsasabi,

^(J)Purihin ninyo ang ating Dios, ninyong lahat na mga lingkod niya, ninyong lahat na mga natatakot sa kaniya, maliliit at malalaki.

⁶At narinig ko ang ^(K)gaya ng isang tinig ng isang makapal na karamihan, at ^(L)gaya ng lagaslas ng maraming tubig, at gaya ng ugong ng malalakas na kulog na nagsasabi,

Aleluya: sapagka't naghahari ang Panginoong ating Dios na Makapangyarihan sa lahat.
⁷Tayo'y mangagalak at tayo'y mangagsayang mainam, at siya'y ating luwalhatiin; ^(M)sapagka't dumating ang pagkakasal ng Cordero, at ang ^(N)kaniyang asawa ay nahahanda na.
⁸At ^(O)sa kaniya'y ipinagkaloob na ^(P)damtan ang kaniyang sarili ng mahalagang lino, makintab at tunay; sapagka't ang mahalagang lino ay siyang mga matuwid na gawa ng mga banal.

⁹At sinasabi niya sa akin, Isulat mo, ^(Q)Mapapalad ang mga inanyayahan sa paghapon sa kasalan ng Cordero. At sinasabi niya sa akin, ^(R)Ang mga ito'y siyang tunay na mga salita ng Dios.

¹⁰At ^(S)ako'y nagpatirapa sa kaniyang paanan upang siya'y aking sambahin. At sinasabi niya sa akin, ^(T)Ingatan mong huwag gawin iyan: ako'y kapuwa mo alipin at ng iyong mga kapatid ^(U)na mayroong patotoo ni Jesus: sumamba ka sa Dios: sapagka't ^(V)ang patotoo ni Jesus ay siyang ^(W)espiritu ng hula.

¹¹At nakita kong bukas ang ^(X)langit; at narito, ang isang ^(Y)kabayong maputi, at yaong nakasakay dito ay tinatawag na ^(Z)Tapat at ^(AA)Totoo; ^(AB)at sa katuwiran siya'y humahatol at nakikipagbaka.

¹²At ang ^(AC)kaniyang mga mata ay ningas ng apoy, ^(AD)at sa kaniyang ulo ay maraming diadema; at siya'y ^(AE)may isang pangalang nakasulat, na sinoman ay di nakaaalam kundi siya rin.

¹³At siya'y nararamtan ^(AF)ng damit na winisikan ng dugo: at ang kaniyang pangalan ay tinatawag na ^(AG)Ang Verbo ng Dios.

¹⁴At ang mga hukbong ^(AH)nasa langit ay sumusunod sa kaniya na mga nakasakay sa mga kabayong puti, at nangararamtan ng mahalagang ^(AI)linong maputi at dalisay.

¹⁵At ^(AJ)sa kaniyang bibig ay lumalabas ang isang tabak na matalas, upang sa pamamagitan nito'y sugatan niya ang mga bansa: at ^(AK)kaniyang paghaharian ng tungkod na bakal: at niyuyurakan ^(AL)niya ang pisaan ng ubas ng kabangisan ng kagalitan ng Dios na Makapangyarihan sa lahat.

¹⁶At siya'y mayroong isang pangalang nakasulat sa kaniyang damit at sa kaniyang hita, ^(AM) Hari ng mga Hari at Panginoon ng mga Panginoon.

¹⁷At nakita kong nakatayo ang isang anghel sa araw; na siya'y sumisigaw ng malakas na tinig, na nagsasabi sa lahat ng mga ibong lumilipad sa gitna ng himpapawid, ^(AN)Halikayo at mangagkatipon ^(AO)sa dakilang hapunan ng Dios;

¹⁸Upang kayo'y ^(AP)makakain ng laman ng mga hari, at ng laman ng mga ^(AQ)pangulong kapitan, at ng laman ng mga taong makapangyarihan, at ng laman ng mga kabayo at ng mga nakasakay dito, at ng laman ng lahat ng mga taong laya at mga alipin man, at maliliit at malalaki.

¹⁹At nakita ko ^(AR)ang hayop, at ang mga hari sa lupa, at ang kanilang mga hukbo, na nangagkakatipon ^(AS)upang makipagbaka laban doon sa nakasakay sa kabayo, at laban sa kaniyang hukbo.

²⁰At sinunggaban ang hayop, ^(AT)at kasama niya ang bulaang propeta na gumawa ng mga tanda ^(AU)sa harapan nito, na siyang ^(AV)ipinangdaya sa mga nagsitanggap ng tanda ng hayop at sa mga sumamba sa larawan nito: ang dalawang ito ^(AW)ay inihagis na buhay sa dagatdagatang apoy na nagliliyab sa asupre:

²¹At ang mga iba ay pinatay sa tabak na lumalabas sa bibig ^(AX)niyaong nakasakay sa kabayo, at ^(AY)ang lahat ng mga ibon ay nangabusog ng mga laman nila.

Ang Kasiyahan sa Langit

19 Pagkatapos ng mga ito, narinig ko ang tila malakas na tinig ng napakaraming tao sa langit na nagsasabi,

“Aleluia!
Ang pagliligtas, kaluwalhatian at kapangyarihan ay sa ating Diyos,
² sapagkat ^(A) ang hatol niya ay tunay at makatarungan;
hinatulan niya ang tanyag na babaing mahalay
na sumira ng daigdig sa pamamagitan ng kanyang imoralidad
at ipinagbayad siya ng Diyos sa dugo ng kanyang mga lingkod.”

³At ^(B) nagsalita silang muli,

“Aleluia!
Ang usok mula sa tanyag na lungsod ay pumapailanlang magpakailanpaman.”

⁴At ang dalawampu't apat na matatanda at ang apat na buháy na nilalang ay nagpatirapa at sumamba sa Diyos na nakaupo sa trono. At sila'y nagsabi,

“Amen. Aleluia!”

⁵Mula ^(C) sa trono ay lumabas ang isang tinig,

“Purihin ninyo ang ating Diyos,
kayong lahat na mga lingkod niya,
kayong mga natatakot sa kanya,
mga hamak man o dakila.”

⁶At ^(D) narinig ko ang parang tinig ng napakaraming tao, tulad ng lagaslas ng maraming tubig at tulad ng malalakas na dagundong ng kulog, na nagsasabi,

“Aleluia!
Sapagkat ang Panginoon nating Diyos
    na Makapangyarihan sa lahat ay naghahari.
⁷Magalak tayo at magdiwang,
    luwalhatiin natin siya,
sapagkat sumapit na ang kasal ng Kordero,
    at inihanda ng kanyang kasintahan ang kanyang sarili.
⁸Binigyan siya ng pinong lino
    makintab at malinis upang isuot niya”—

sapagkat ang pinong lino ay ang matutuwid na gawa ng mga banal.

⁹At ^(E) sinabi sa akin ng anghel, “Isulat mo ito: Pinagpala ang mga inanyayahan sa handaan ng kasal ng Kordero.” At sinabi niya sa akin, “Ito ay tunay na mga salita ng Diyos.” ¹⁰Nagpatirapa ako sa kanyang paanan upang sumamba sa kanya, subalit sinabi niya sa akin, “Huwag mong gawin iyan! Ako ay kapwa mo lingkod na kasama mo at ng iyong mga kapatid na naninindigan sa patotoo ni Jesus. Sa Diyos ka sumamba! Sapagkat ang patotoo ni Jesus ang espiritu ng propesiya.”

Ang Nakasakay sa Puting Kabayo

¹¹Pagkatapos, ^(F) nakita kong bumukas ang langit, at doon ay lumitaw ang isang puting kabayo. Tapat at Totoo ang tawag sa nakasakay dito, at makatarungan siyang humahatol at nakikipagdigma. ¹²Ang ^(G) mga mata niya ay parang ningas ng apoy, at sa ulo niya ay maraming korona. Mayroon sa kanyang nakasulat na pangalan na siya lamang ang nakakaalam. ¹³Ang ^(H) suot niyang damit ay itinubog sa dugo, at siya'y tinatawag sa pangalang Ang Salita ng Diyos. ¹⁴At ang mga hukbo ng langit na nakasuot ng pinong lino, puti at dalisay ay sumusunod sa kanya; sila'y nakasakay sa mga puting kabayo. ¹⁵Mula ^(I) sa kanyang bibig ay lumalabas ang isang matalas na tabak na pantaga sa mga bansa, at siya ay maghahari sa kanila gamit ang tungkod na bakal. Tatapak-tapakan niya ang mga ubas sa pisaan upang lumabas ang katas ng bagsik ng poot ng Diyos na Makapangyarihan sa lahat. ¹⁶Sa kanyang damit at hita ay may nakasulat na pangalan, “Hari ng mga hari at Panginoon ng mga panginoon.”

¹⁷Pagkatapos, nakita ^(J) ko ang isang anghel na nakatayo sa araw, at siya'y sumigaw ng malakas na nagsasabi sa lahat ng mga ibong lumilipad sa himpapawid, “Halikayo, magsama-sama kayo upang dumalo sa malaking piging na inihanda ng Diyos. ¹⁸Halikayo at kainin ninyo ang karne ng mga hari, ang karne ng mga kapitan, ang karne ng mga taong makapangyarihan, ang karne ng mga kabayo at ng mga nakasakay sa kanila—ang karne ng lahat ng tao, malaya man o alipin, hamak man o dakila.” ¹⁹At nakita ko ang halimaw at ang mga hari sa daigdig kasama ang kanilang mga hukbo na nagsama-sama upang makidigma sa nakasakay sa kabayo at sa kanyang hukbo. ²⁰Hinuli ^(K) ang halimaw, kasama ang kanyang huwad na propeta na sa kanyang harapan ay gumawa ng tanda na ginamit niya upang linlangin ang mga tumanggap ng tanda ng halimaw at sa mga sumamba sa larawan niya. Ang dalawang ito ay itinapon nang buháy sa lawa ng nagliliyab na asupre. ²¹At ang mga iba naman ay pinatay sa pamamagitan ng tabak ng nakasakay sa kabayo, ang tabak na lumabas mula sa kanyang bibig; at lahat ng mga ibon ay nabusog sa kanilang mga laman.

19 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

²For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

³And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

⁴And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

⁵And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

⁶And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

⁷Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

⁸And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

⁹And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

¹⁰And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

¹¹And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

¹²His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

¹³And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

¹⁴And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

¹⁵And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

¹⁶And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

¹⁷And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

¹⁸That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

¹⁹And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

²⁰And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

²¹And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Threefold Hallelujah Over Babylon’s Fall

19 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude^(A) in heaven shouting:

“Hallelujah!^(B)
Salvation^(C) and glory and power^(D) belong to our God,
² for true and just are his judgments.^(E)
He has condemned the great prostitute^(F)
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”^(G)

³And again they shouted:

“Hallelujah!^(H)
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”^(I)

⁴The twenty-four elders^(J) and the four living creatures^(K) fell down^(L) and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:

“Amen, Hallelujah!”^(M)

⁵Then a voice came from the throne, saying:

“Praise our God,
all you his servants,^(N)
you who fear him,
both great and small!”^(O)

⁶Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude,^(P) like the roar of rushing waters^(Q) and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

“Hallelujah!^(R)
    For our Lord God Almighty^(S) reigns.^(T)
⁷Let us rejoice and be glad
    and give him glory!^(U)
For the wedding of the Lamb^(V) has come,
    and his bride^(W) has made herself ready.
⁸Fine linen,^(X) bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts^(Y) of God’s holy people.)

⁹Then the angel said to me,^(Z) “Write this:^(AA) Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!”^(AB) And he added, “These are the true words of God.”^(AC)

¹⁰At this I fell at his feet to worship him.^(AD) But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God!^(AE) For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”^(AF)

The Heavenly Warrior Defeats the Beast

¹¹I saw heaven standing open^(AG) and there before me was a white horse, whose rider^(AH) is called Faithful and True.^(AI) With justice he judges and wages war.^(AJ) ¹²His eyes are like blazing fire,^(AK) and on his head are many crowns.^(AL) He has a name written on him^(AM) that no one knows but he himself.^(AN) ¹³He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood,^(AO) and his name is the Word of God.^(AP) ¹⁴The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen,^(AQ) white^(AR) and clean. ¹⁵Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword^(AS) with which to strike down^(AT) the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”^[a]^(AU) He treads the winepress^(AV) of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. ¹⁶On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:^(AW)

king of kings and lord of lords.^(AX)

¹⁷And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds^(AY) flying in midair,^(AZ) “Come,^(BA) gather together for the great supper of God,^(BB) ¹⁸so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people,^(BC) free and slave,^(BD) great and small.”^(BE)

¹⁹Then I saw the beast^(BF) and the kings of the earth^(BG) and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse^(BH) and his army. ²⁰But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet^(BI) who had performed the signs^(BJ) on its behalf.^(BK) With these signs he had deluded^(BL) those who had received the mark of the beast^(BM) and worshiped its image.^(BN) The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake^(BO) of burning sulfur.^(BP) ²¹The rest were killed with the sword^(BQ) coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse,^(BR) and all the birds^(BS) gorged themselves on their flesh.

Christ on a White Horse
