2 Veghează şi întăreşte ce rămâne, care e pe moarte, căci n-am găsit faptele tale desăvârşite înaintea Dumnezeului Meu. 3 Adu-ţi(A) aminte dar cum ai primit şi auzit! Ţine şi pocăieşte-te(B)! Dacă(C)nu veghezi, voi veni ca un hoţ şi nu vei şti în care ceas voi veni peste tine. 4 Totuşi ai în Sardes câteva(D) nume, care nu şi-au mânjit hainele(E). Ei vor umbla împreună cu Mine, îmbrăcaţi în(F)alb, fiindcă sunt vrednici.

Dacă însă nu te trezeşti, voi veni ca un hoţ şi nu vei şti când voi veni la tine. 4 Ai totuşi în Sardes câteva nume care nu şi-au întinat hainele; ei vor umbla cu Mine, îmbrăcaţi în alb, pentru că sunt vrednici.

2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent.(A) But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief,(B) and you will not know at what time(C) I will come to you.
4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.(D) They will walk with me, dressed in white,(E) for they are worthy.
